Characterized by the minutely denticulate margins to the leaf, a short stemmed, single flower with a dorsal sepal that is deeply connate to the concave synsepal, the petals are narrowly oblong and the lip is bilamellate above the middle, the laminae fitting between broad, descending wings of the column from above
