Found in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Cameroon in montane rainforests on large branches and in forks at elevations of 600 to 1500 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with an elongate stem carrying 2 ranked, ligulate to linear-liguylate, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the winter on an axillary or below the leaves to 1.6" [4 cm] long, few flowered inflorescnece
