Common Name The Small Trdactyle

Flower Size 3/16" [1 to 1.2 cm]

Found in southwestern Tanzania in the Uzungwa Mountains in dwarf montane mist forests on steep slopes at elevations of 1400 to 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a pendent, straggling, little branched, arcuate stems carrying at eh apex, grasslike, suberect, lenear, very unequally, acutely bilobed apically leaves taht blooms in the late spring from a few, along the mid stem, peduncle .04 to .08" [1 to 2 mm] long, .2 to .28" [5 to 7 mm] long overall, rachis fractiflex, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with ovate floral bracts and carrying greenish yellow flowers with an orange column.
