Common Name Raven's Triphora [Original Collector of species 1900's]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Costa Rica and western Panama in pluvial forests at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte or terrestrial with an erect stem various, rhombic-elliptic, purple leaves thaat blooms in the later summer on an axillary from the uppermost leaves, short, single flowered inflorescence carrying a rose-purple flower.
