Flower Size .32" [8 mm] wide

Found in Morona-Santiago Ecuador at leevatiions around 800 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with short ramicauls enveloped by tubular, papery sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, linear, acute, narrowing below intothe base leaf that blooms in the early spring on an erect, peduncle scabrous, 2 to 2.24" [5 to 5.6 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.
