Found in north and western Borneo at elevations around 240 to 600 meters as a clump-forming, miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with dark brown, pubescent tubers giving rise to 10 to 15, ivory white to creamy colored, wiry, simple to branched, sparsely ramentaceous stems carrying 5 to 10, ovate, acute, sheath-like, adpressed to the stem leaves taht blooms in the summer on an erect, sparsely ramentaceous, slightly zig-zag, successively 1 to 2, 5 to 15 flowered inflorescence with off white, tipped brown, triangular, acute to acuminate floral bracts and carrying non-resupinate, partially open, white flowers with the apex of the lip pale orange to yellow.
