Found in western New Guinea as a terrestrial with angled stems carrying 3 to 4, lanceolate, acute-acuminate, mucronate, 7 nerved, prominent beneath leaves that blooms on a terminal, peduncle 1.2 to 1.4" [3 to 3.5 cm] long, rachis 1.1 to 1.5" [2.75 to 3.75 cm] long, flexuous, several flowered inflorescence with conduplicate, ovate, acuminate, puberulent floral bracts
