Common Name Reichenbach's Tropidia [German Botanist 1800's]

Found in the Lesser Sunda Islands, Maluku and New Guinea in forest margins as a medium sized terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 5 to 6, lanceolate, acuminate, membraneous, 5 nerved leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, .8" [2 cm] long, cylindrical to capitate, many flowered inflorescence
Closest to T septemnervis but T reichenbachiana differs in the lip and rhombic gynostemium and T effusa but T reichenbachiana differs in the shorter than the lip gynostemium.
