Found in Northern Territory Australia in monsoon rainforests in stony soils at elevations of sealevel to 200 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing terrestrial with an erect, thin, tough stem carrying 3 to 6, scattered on the upper portion of the stem, erect to prostrate, dark green, ovate to lanceolate, thin textured, plicate, 5 veined, acute, gradually narrowing to a basally clasping base leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, terminal, .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] long, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence with crowded, wide open flowers held in an apical corymb
