Common Name The Almost One-Colored Vanda - In China Chun Se Wan Dai Lan

Flower Size 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm]

Found in Hainan and southwestern Yunnan provinces of China on tree trunks in sparse woods at elevations of 600 to 1000 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphtye with a stem carrying many, disitchous, slightly fleshy, lorate, 2 to 3 toothed apically, conduplicate towards the amplexicaul, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an axillary, arching, to 7" [17.5 cm] long, racemose, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence carrying thick textured flowers
