Found in Huanaco Peru in moss cushions in shady locales on the western slope of the Pico Sira and adjacent lowlands at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a recumbent stem carrying many ovate, acute to obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves with hairy protrusions within the axils that blooms on a terminal, erect, 2.4" [6 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with 2, long-acuminate bracts and floral bracts that are shorter than the flower.
