Found in southwestern Rwanda in montane rainforests at elevations around 1850 to 2100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a short, erect stem carrying unequally bilobed apically, rounded lobes, basally twisted so as to lie all in one plane leaves that blooms in the fall on several, pendent, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, 2 to 17 flowered inflorescence
