Found in Mindano Philippines in shady forests at elevations around 70 meters as a small to just medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with ascending, slender, sparsely hairy stems carrying about 6, narrowly lanceolate, almost purplish, narrowing below into the petiolate sheathed base leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a terminal, erect, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, loosely few flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, sparsely hairy, erect floral bracts. .
