Flower Size .4" [1 cm] long
Found in Arunachal Pradesh and Orissa states of India in lawns amidist short grasses and Ophioglossum species at an altitude ranging from 182 to 762 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an underground, vertical to horizontal, very long and unbranched rhizome giving rise to a pink stem provided with 2 to 3 pink bracts towards the base and carrying linear, acuminate, prominent midvein, green turning to reddish brown, sessile and clasping base leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, .4 to 1.6" [1 to 4 cm] long, densely 3 to 20 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, 1-3 nerved, pale green tinged pink, hyaline at margin, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying partly opening flowers that face in all directions.
Similar to Z strateumatica but however, the flowers are smaller, white. Lip hypochile saccate with 2 villi on inside walls; epichile broadened at apex into 2 distant lobes.
