Found in the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales Australia in rainforests, wetter forests and in swampy areas near streams at elevations of 5 to 1000 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with 3 to 7, stalkless, narrowly ovate, dark green, waxy margined leaves that blooms in the winter and early spring on an erect, pubescent, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, 5 to 30 flowered inflorescence.
