Found in Java, Borneo and Sulawesi at elevations of 350 to 950 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 3 to 4, broadly lanceolate, dark green, shiny, 3 main veined leaves that blooms in the later winter and early spring on a short hairy, to 3.6" [to 9 cm] long, to 15 flowered inflorescence carrying scarcely opening flowers with chlorophyll green colored sepals and ovaries which is distinctive amongst the Javanese species of Zeuxine.
