Common Name Aguirre's Zootrophion [Colombian Orchid Enthusiast current]

Found in Colombia without exact locality as a medium sized, epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by infundibular sheaths with oblique ostia and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic to somewhat lanceolate, acute, abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a fasciculate, arching, 1.6" [4 cm] long, simultaneously few flowered inflorescence arising from the apex of the ramicaul.
