Common Name The Round Underside Zootrophion
Flower Size 3/4" or less [1.75 cm]
Found in Panama, Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of sea level to 1800 meters and is a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphytic or terrestrial species with an erect ramicaul enveloped completely by 3 to 4 imbricating, loose, acuminate sheaths and carrying a single, apical, elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an apical, 4" or less [10 cm], shorter than the leaf, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence occuring in the summer.
