Common Name The Rimmed Zygosepalum [refers to the lip apex rimmed in white]

Colombia without exact locality as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with .8 to 1.2" [2 t o3 cm] between each, ovoid to narrowly cylindrical-ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 4 oblanceolate, acute to subacuminate, subplicate, narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms on a lateral, 2.4 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm] long, 2 to few flowered inflorescence carrying dark pruple red to blood red flowers with a white fringe to the dentate lip apex.
