Common Name Gutfreund's Anathallis [Brazilian Orchid Enthusiast and Nurseryman current]

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil without locality as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with stout, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 whitidh, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, elliptic, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early on a fascile of a few peduncles .24 to .28" [6 to 7 mm] long, successively single, sometimes 2 flowered inflorescence

This species would be better placed in Pleurothallis within my framework of the Orchidaceae but as yet it has not been described as such.
