Common Name The Pug-Nosed Anacheilium [refers to the column's shape]

Flower Size 2 3/4" [7 cm]

Found in Panama and Colombia at elevations of 600 to 1400 meters in wet montane forests and is a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with elongate pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, lanceolate leaf that blooms in the winter on terminal, erect, 2 1/4" [5.5 cm] long, racemose, few flowered inflorescence with very fragrant flowers.
