Found in the Nicobar Islands, penninsular Malaysia, Java, Sumatra and Borneo at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with .8 to 2" [2 to 5 cm] between each long-oblong, slightly flattened, sulcate with age pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, oblong, obtuse, abruptly narrowing basally into the petiolate base leaf that blooms from all along the rhizome on many at a time, to 1" to 2.5 cm] long, 5 to 6 flowered inflorescence
