Found in northern Queensland Australia in dense rainforests on small branches of tall trees at elevations of 650 to 750 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphtye with crowded, flattened, pale green pseudobulbs and carrying a single, apical, dark green, stiff, oblong, obtuse leaf that blooms in the mid spring through summer on a thread-like, .16 to .28" [4 to 7 cm] long, 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence
