Common Name The Callous Carrying Bulbophyllum [refers to the abaxial callus on the lip]

Found in Sabah Borneo in high podzolic forests at elevations around 1000 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short creeping rhizome with somewhat persistent bracts giving rise to small, .16 to .32" [.4 to .8 cm] between each, globose to cylindrical, not angular pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect to patent, elliptic to obovate, rounded to obtuse, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect then nodding, peduncle to 10 to 13.2" " [25 to 33 cm] long, erect, provided with 4 to 5 bracts, rachis nodding 1.6 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm] long, ellipsoid-cylindrical, very densely, 105 to 135 flowered inflorescence with shorter to as long as the ovary floral bracts.
