Common Name The Head-Shaped Bulbophyllum [refers to the shape of the Inflorescence]

Found only in Java in forests at elevations of 1000 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] between each laterally flattened, ovate-oblong pseudobulb carrying long-ovate, acute, tough, dark green, petiolate base leaves that blooms on an arising from the rhizome, short to 1.6" [4 cm], 9 or more flowered inflorescence carrying the flowers in a loose corymb.
