Flower Size .18" [4mm]

Found in Java and Sulawesi in the dense understory of montane forests at elevations of 1900 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .32 to 1.52" [.8 to 3.8 cm] between each, distinct, obliquely erect, ovoid, grooved pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to obovate, acute-mucronate, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a basal, .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with acute floral bracts.

Similar to both B comberi which is smaller in all dimensions and has a median ridge on the adaxial side of the lip, and B depressum which differs in having distinct side lobes to the lip
