Found in Sarawak and Sabah Borneo in tall, dense forests at elevationsd of 1300 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .2 to .78" [.5 to 1.8 cm] between each distinct, more or less erect, ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, elliptic to ovate, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, peduncle .16 to .28" [4 to 7 mm] long, provided with 2 scales, .28 to ,48" [.7 to 1.2 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
This species is similar to B comberi but B clinocorphe differs in the lip apex being orbicular in crossection as well as being longer and narrower and the vein of the stelida is absent or inconspicuous.
