Common Name Dickason's Bulbophyllum

Flower Size

Found in Yunnan province of China and Myanmar at elevations of 1100 to 1200 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with flat, globular, blackish and shunken when old pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, deciduous leaf that blooms in the spring after leaf fall, on an erect then downward faced just before the rachis, peduncle 3.6 to 11.2" [9 to 13 cm] long, rachis 1.2 to 1.8" [3.5 to 4.5 cm] long, 4 to 8 flowered inflorescence with narrow, triangular, inrolled edges, 3 to 5 veined floral bract.

Please refer to B guttifilium as well. There is confusion as to which is which or if they are both the same and the antennae [missing here] on the apex of the dorsal sepal develop as the flower ages? I have no references to confirm and get all information from a Thai Blog and that is not my language.

Synonyms Tripudianthes dickasonii (Seidenf.) Szlach. & Kras 2007
