Flower Size .08 x .84 to .92" [.2 cm x 2.1 to 2.3 cm]
Found in Yunnan province of China in forests on branches and tree trunks at higher elevations as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a patent to pendulous rhizome with close set, cylindrical pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, lanceolate, acute, subsessile base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, basal from the pseudobulb or from the rhizome, 3 to .2" [5 mm] long, densely 10 to to 15 flowered inflorescence with membraneous, longer than the pedicel, acute floral bracts.
