Common Name The Bulbless Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 3/8" [1 cm]

Found only in India at elevations around 500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing, unifoliate epiphyte with no obvious pseudobulbs and has 3" between each leaf that arises from the rhizome and blooms in the spring on an erect, basal, 7" [17.5 cm] long, many flowered, racemose inflorescence holding the flowers below the leaf.

Best given hot temperatures, high humidity, partial shade and good air circulation.

This species and B apodum are said to be conspecific by Goaverts of Kew but I have kept them separate at this time as further references are not available.
