Common Name or Meaning The Elongated Bulbophyllum [refers to the inflorescence]

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in penninsular Malaysia, Java, Borneo, New Guinea and the Philippines in very damp forests near water at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 6" [15 cm] between each more or less globose pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong, acute, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a to 24" [60 cm] long, arching, many flowered inflorescence enveloped by several sheaths.
