    Flower Size

    Found only in New Guinea in range forests at elevations around 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with minute, narrowly ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblanceolate-ligulate, apiculate, attenuate into the base leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a short few bracted, single flowered inflorescence with cucullate, as long as the ovary floral bracts and carrying non resupinate flowers

    Schlechter states that the flower color is rose-red weith yellow sepal tips.

    Similar to B rarum but differs in the lip.
