Common Name The Minutely Pustulate Bulbophyllum [refers to the minutely pustulate surface of the adaxial surface of the sepals and petals]

Found in the Philippines at an unknown locality at middle elevations as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing orchid with 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm] between each broadly ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, acute gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, 1.6" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute floral bracts and carrying resupinate flowers.

This species is similar to Bulbophllum elevatopunctatum
