Flower Size 1.76" [4.4 cm] wide
Found in Sabah Borneo in dense forests with Bamboo undergrowth at elevations around 1900 to 2200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid, not to hardly flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to elliptic-ovate, obtuse to apiculate to acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect to patent, peduncle .72 to 1.2" [1.8 to 3 cm] long, 2 to 3 bracted, 1.2 to 2.2" [3 to 5.5 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence.
This species is similar to B longhutense but this one has 2 large teeth on the adaxial side of the lip and has a shorter median sepal,
