Common Name The Lance-Shaped Lip Bulbophyllum

Found in Sulawesi in lower montane forests at elevations of 900 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a pendulous, creeping rhizome and .8 to 3.2" [2 to 8 cm] between each, conspicuous, ovoid, hardly angular pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a porrect to arching, thickened, spindle-shaped, finely papillose-hirsute, 2.4 to 3.2" [6.5 to 8 cm] long, 22 to 28 flowered inflorescence with rounded, apicaulate floral bracts.
