Common Name The Speckled Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in New Guinea at elevations of 1300 to 1800 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect, elliptic-ligulate, apiculate, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring on a basal, short to 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence

For years I had another species photo up for B hians. It can be seen Bulbophyllum sp # 11 here. I do not know what species it may represent. I am sorry for the mididentification.

Synonyms Bulbophyllum hians var. alticola Schltr. 1913
