Found in western Sumatra at elevations around 850 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a thin rhizome with .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm] between each, erect, narrowly ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single apical, erect, strap shaped, obtuse leaf that blooms on a basal, erect peduncle slender, terete, a few sheaths below the middle, about the same length as the leaves, to .6 to 1.4" [1.5 to 3.5 cm] long, rachis very short, densely 4 to 7 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, a little shorter than the ovaries floral bracts.
