Common Name The Smooth Belly Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .12" [3 mm]

Found in Papua New Guinea in unknown habitat and elevations as a mini-miniature sized, shortly patent epiphyte with .16" [4 mm] between each distinct, oblique, ovoid, obtusely angular pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-ovate, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a basal, peduncle .12" [.3 cm] long, provided with 2 bracts, .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with acute, shorter than the the ovary floral bracts.

Differs from B lasiogaster by its glabrous petals, and the glabrous face of the column.
