Common Name or Meaning The Small Lipped Bulbophyllum
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in Thailand, Malaysia and Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations of 900 to 2200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with 2.4 to 7" [6 to 17.5 cm] in between each conical pseudobulb that is adpressed to a woody rhizome and enveloped basally by stiff hairs and has a single, elliptic, obtuse to acute, stiff, petiolate leaf and blooms in the summer on an erect, 2" [5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from the rhizome.
