Common Name The Obtuse Bulbophyllum [refers to the lip apex]
Flower Size .2" [5 mm]
Found in Malaysia, Borneo, Java and Sumatra in lower montane forests at elevations of 700 to 2200 meters as a miniature sized, pendulous to scrambling, warm to cool growing epiphyte with .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each tilted at an acute angle to the rhizome, ovoid to cylindrical, variable sized pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, narrowly oblong, obtuse, sessile leaf that blooms in the winter on an arising from the rhizome, 2 to 3 flowered .2 to .4" [6 to 9 mm] long inflorescence.
The flowers are color variable and come in all white and an all yellow form.
