Found in Sabah Borneo in forests but cultivated at elevations of 1500 meters as a small to almost medium sized. cool growing epiphyte with a shortly creeping rhizome with not persistent bracts giving rise to distinct, at least .08" [at least .2 cm] between each, ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, elliptic, acute, obtuse, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect to patent, elongated, peduncle to 26" [65 cm] long, rachis rather dense, porrect to arching, to 14" [35 cm] long, to 90 flowered inflorescence with longer than the ovary floral bracts
