Common Name The Wide Lip Bulbophyllum

Found in Sabah Borneo at elevations around 1500 to 1700 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with 1.6 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, rather thin, elliptic, elongate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a 10 to 14.4" [25 to 36 cm] long overall, peduncle 8.4 to 12.8" [21 to 32 cm] long, rachis [3.5 to 4.5 cm] long, 15 to 20 flowered inflorescence with ovate, shorter to as long as the ovary floral bracts and carrying cream-yellow flowers.
