Found in Sarawak, Sabah and Kalaiantan Borneo at elevations of 850 to 1700 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with [.9 to 1.2 cm] between each ovoid to depressed conical pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, obtuse, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a pendulous, peduncle 6.8 to 16" [17 to 40 cm] long, provided with 5 to 6 scales, rachis swollen, cylindrical with the flowers on low-conical swellings, 13.2 to 14.4' [33 to 36 cm] long, elongated, 20 to 30" [50 to 75 cm] long overall, laxly, spirally arranged in often imperfect whorls of 5 to 8, simultaneously few, 70 to 90 flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
