Flower Size .2 to .25" [5 to 8 mm]
Found in the western Himalayas, Assam, eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Sikkim, India, Myanmar, Yunnan China and Thailand in subtropical, montane forests at elevations of 300 to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with .2 to .35" [4 to 9 mm] between each globose-ovoid, green, broad based pseudobulb and carrying a single, deciduous, narrowly oblong, subacute, sessile leaf that is not present at blooming which is in the spring on a secund, .4 to 3.2" [1 to 8 cm] long, to 8 flowered, suberect, racemose, recurved inflorescence
