Found in Assam, Sikkim, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam at elevations around 500 to 600 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with cylindrical then tapering apically pseudobulbs that are enveloped basally by a triangular sheath and carrying a single, apical, lanceolate, recurved, acute leaf that blooms in the later spring and summer on a basal, 3/4" long, several [3 to 5] flowered inflorescnece with the flowers in an apical cluster.
