Found in Sulawesi in primary forests and remnants at elevations of 1000 to 2500 meters as a miniature to small sized, creeping to loosely straggling, warm to cold growing epiphyte with 2 to 11.2" [5 to 28 cm] between each distinct, ovoid, obtusely 4 angled pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic to ovate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the shortly, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect to patent becoming arching to nodding, subumbellate, .72 to 1" [1.8 to 2.5 cm] long, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with acute floral bracts.
