Found in Thailand at elevations of 1200 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, irregularily globular, not very flattened, adpressed to and more or less enclosing the rhizome, somewhat oblique pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, persistent, margin entire, median vein distinct on the surface, linear to lanceolate, obtuse leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, to .72" [1.8 cm] long including the pedicel and ovary, single flowered inflorescence
"Morphologically Bulbophyllum konstantinovii Aver. 2013 may be closest to Bulbophyllum simplicilabellum Seidenf. and B. didymotropis Seidenf. described from Thailand, but distinctly differs in 3 nerved sepals, broadly ovate, oblique, acute petals, broad cup-like, cordate broadening of column foot apex and inflated fleshy margin of the lip."
