Flower Size

Found in Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and Pataza province of Ecuador in humid lowland forests at elevations around 300 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to subconical, 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, oblong, obtuse, thick, rigid, cuneate below intothe sessile base leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, basal, arching, peduncle longer than the leaves, 3.2 to 8.4" [8 to 21 cm] long, rachis thicker, fleshy, .8 to 9.6" [2 to 24 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence carrying inconspicuous, yellowish to orange flowers with dull reddish spots.
