Common Name The Densely Crowded Pseudobulb Bulbophyllum

Found in penninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo and Sulawesi in the understory of mossy montane forests on twigs at elevations of 1000 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with distinct, erect, ovoid, finely grooved pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic to ovate, acute to acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, 1.6 to 2.6” [4 to 6.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with acute floral bracts.
