Found in the Philippines at elevations of 1650 to 1750 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a thick creeping rhizome carrying, cylindrical, basally swollen, wrinkled pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, leathery, oblong-elliptic, gradually narrowing below into the channeled petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, 4.4" [11 cm] long, umbellate, racemose inflorescence with 3 sheathing bracts and linear-lanceolate floral bracts
